Pattern = outcome

 Someone once asked, "What makes people different?"

One of the pros replied:

"The size of the pattern, it reflects in people's vision, thinking, the pursuit of height and their own easy magnanimity."

People in this life, really can determine their own destiny, not ability, not talent, but pattern.

The reason why there is too much pain in life is because their height is not enough, pattern is too small.

Pattern, determine the outcome, the higher the pattern, life will be more shun, the smaller the pattern, will accomplish nothing.

There's a term in cognitive psychology called the tunnel view effect:

When a person is in a tunnel, he can only see the narrow space before and after, which limits his cognitive level and realm.

People, if shortsighted, chest without big pattern, will be limited everywhere, difficult to achieve, mediocre and incompetent life.

Writer Hui Maiu once said such a thing:

There is a man opened a Japanese material shop, because the taste is good, attracted a lot of customers.

But even though business was booming, the boss never gave his employees a raise.

Asked why, he replied:

"What if my business goes bad and I don't make as much money?"

When he saw that the free soy sauce was running out too fast, he took pains to find a bottle that couldn't pour too much soy sauce.

Just as he was rejoicing in saving on soy sauce, something unexpected happened:

Unable to pour the soy sauce, customers simply open the lid and pour the sauce directly from the mouth of the bottle onto the plate.

As a result, the daily soy sauce consumption is not reduced, but more waste.

Because the boss is too small, haggle over every ounce, and finally tied himself in a trap, outweighed his losses.

What a person values, often reflects the person's cognition and pattern.

In this life, it is difficult to achieve great things if you focus your time and energy on unimportant things.

The smaller the pattern of people, the more limited to the appearance of things, tangled in trivial matters, will eventually fall into the mire of life.

Abraham Lincoln gave a speech before he ran for president of the United States.

A senator insulted him: "Mr. Lincoln, you must not forget, you are only a shoemaker's son."

Lincoln laughed at the senator's insult.

"Thank you for remembering my late father.

I will remember your advice, though I will not be president as well as my father was a shoemaker."

The senator was dumbfounded. "My father must have made your shoes," he added. "If they didn't fit, I could fix them.

I wasn't as skilled as my father, but I learned from him as a child."

Then he looked at the crowd:

"If anyone wearing my father's shoes needs repairing, I will do my best to do so.

But I'm sure no one can match my father's craftsmanship."

"Then the laughter was drowned out by waves of applause.

After the event, someone asked Lincoln: "In the face of the enemy should not be destroyed? Why are you still so kind to them? '

Lincoln gently replied, "Have I not perished? When they identify with me and stand with me."

It is true that a person should have a certain pattern and not be entangled in temporary grudges so as not to be stuck in one's feet.

Someone said such a phenomenon: you stand on the second floor to look down, may see a full eye of garbage;

But when you look down from the 80th floor, you can have a panoramic view of the prosperity of the whole city.

Life, only stand tall, can see far, can see the world thoroughly, life can be more and more smooth.

Yu Qiuyu once said:

"If a person's life pattern is large, he will not sink in the triviality of life.

Through the ages, people who achieve great things tend to have a long view and a big picture.

If people have a big pattern, life is more prone to counter-attack, if there is no pattern, will only be mediocre.

There is a rich man, in order to repay the society, he funded for a school to build a library, convenient for children to read.

One day, the millionaire was idle and came to the school to check the progress of the project.

On the spot, he saw three men in different states building a wall and asked them what they were doing.

The first man said glumly:

"Can't you see HOW hard I'm building that wall? This mechanical work is so boring! '

The second man replied casually, "We're building the perfect library with the best materials."

A third man said excitedly:

"We are creating a good life so our children can learn more and have a future to look forward to."

Many years later, the first man is still a labourer for money;

The second became an engineer, making drawings all day in a comfortable office.

And the third, who has become the owner of a large construction company, is not cheap.

In the face of the same thing, different patterns of people, the perspective and height of the problem will be very different.

A person's pattern determines how big things he can become in the future and what kind of life he can lead.

People only open their horizons, broaden their knowledge, improve their height, to have a broad world.

There's a line from a Song of Ice and Fire:

"People with patterns can have a thousand kinds of life."

Life, have what kind of pattern, will have what kind of outcome.

A pattern of people, can withstand the test of life, even in an unbearable situation, will eventually be able to improve;

No pattern of people, will only sink in life trivial, even if have a moment of scenery, will not be satisfactory.

In the rest of my life, I hope we can improve the pattern, broaden our vision, do not be surprised, become the strong life.
