Every good has a memory

Parents are going to build a new house in their old home. I was not very motivated at first to build such a house. I don't have an older brother or younger brother, my older sister and three younger sisters are all married out, and they all built very beautiful houses. I bought two houses in the city myself, one for my wife and I and one for my parents. The only child works in a college along the coast and has a house, so I can't think of a reason to build a house in my hometown. But my parents are farmers, and they hope to return to the countryside after a hundred years. There should be a place to put a life vessel in the village to hold a happy event. They are eager to build a house, and I am not too opposed to it. After thinking about it for two or three months, I finally decided to support it.

The foundation is ready-made, and the old house can be demolished to rebuild it. My parents also have the funds for building the house. Even if I add a little, the amount will only be 30,000 to 50,000 yuan. As a university teacher and writer, I can fully afford it. My biggest worry is hiring workers. In my opinion, the house should be contracted out, not including food. The specifications and quality of cement, steel bars, wood, red bricks, doors and windows, and the requirements for the construction period are all stated in the contract. The task of the owner is to supervise the contractor. Implemented according to the contract. Father doesn't want to. He felt that it would be more economical to hire people temporarily every day and settle accounts according to the actual employment situation. But to do this, you have to hire people one by one, and you have to calculate how many big and small workers you need every day. What's more, my hometown is a mountainous area and the economy is not developed. Young people usually go to work in cities and coastal areas. It is not easy to find people to do things.

When the construction started, some female villagers came, the younger was 30 or 40 years old, and the older was 50 or 60 years old. Some of them picked bricks, some with cement, and some handed lumber. A considerable part of these villagers offered to help. . When the old house was first demolished, there were five or six people who did three jobs each. The mother gave them wages, but they refused to accept them. When the new houses are officially built, some of them do less than 30 jobs, and some have more than 40 jobs. Their parents calculate the money for them at the current price, but they refuse to accept so much. If one wants less than one thousand and more than two thousand, one party insists on giving it all, and the other party insists on receiving only part of the money. My mother was moved to tears, and always kept saying to me: "The villagers are so good! I have lived in the city for so many years, and they still talk about love like that."

There is a reason why the villagers treat their mother so well. Ten years ago, my parents had been living in the countryside, and my mother had been doing good in her own way all her life: when there were fights between villagers, my mother would take the initiative to persuade them, and sometimes even took the risk of snatching sticks and kitchen knives from their hands; When the orphans from the village came to my house, the mother would do everything possible to find something for them to eat. The mother often said, "It's too pitiful for the mother and cub"; the children in the village could not afford to go to school, and the mother would take the initiative to borrow some tuition fees; some people in the village were seriously ill and needed The huge amount of medical expenses, the mother pays her own money, and goes door-to-door to collect donations for them... The mother is old and has been away from home for some years. Some of these villagers who contributed to her did not receive her direct help, but her mother The reputation she left in the village made her still prestigious among the villagers, who were willing to help her mother when she was in trouble.

Kindness does not matter how big or small, and no matter what form, if a person has money, he can donate buildings to schools, hospitals, and scientific research institutions; For people who are in trouble, as long as others get real benefits from your help, this kind of goodness is valuable. In addition to directly improving the situation of others, doing good can also give them a sense of security. Knowing that someone is in danger, someone will help, and a person will have confidence in the world. When others fall into the same situation, he will have the idea of passing on goodness. The more people who do this, the warmer and better our world will be.

Every kindness has a long memory, and never forgets its origin.

Moroccan football team: "The most familiar stranger"

When I was still in college ten years ago, I led a sightseeing group of more than 30 Moroccan students. Before meeting them, my general impression of the Moroccans was that they are from North Africa but closer to the Arab world. They have religious beliefs, are used to worship, and are inextricably linked with France. When I saw the real person, I realized that the North Africans in front of me were actually a group of children playing with each other and having fun in time. They were about the same age as me at the time. I have all kinds of nicknames and nicknames. During the process of taking them to Badaling, the Summer Palace and Houhai, two classmates and I, together with more than 30 Moroccan students, realized "cultural integration" and "world unity" in the small group to some extent. During the World Cup in Qatar, I was surprised to find that the little-known Morocco team, which was eliminated in the group stage of the last World Cup, after miraculou

Zeigarnik effect

As a freelancer, you have to fight procrastination every day. "I've made up my mind many times, but I just can't change it. Is it because I'm slow or slow?". In fact, many procrastinations are irrational. Many obstructions are imagined by myself. So distract, postpone, avoid confrontation. It's cool to procrastinate, and it's cool to procrastinate all the time, so I can't do it. Concentration is also related to physical strength. When the physical strength is exhausted, it is even more difficult to concentrate. You’ll tell yourself: I’m too tired to do this—okay, another perfect procrastination. In 1927, Bruma Zeigarnik's senior research found that people are more likely to care about unfinished and interrupted work than completed work. This is the Zeigarnik effect. For example, we often don't care much about what we have got, but we will especially cherish what we have worked hard but haven't got. Therefore, the TV series will tell you
